In 2020-21, Lead Guitar served 60 schools in four states. While we make our home in Arizona, Lead Guitar has active programs that serve large urban areas, remote rural locations, and any place in between with low access to the arts.
Newer centers of activity include Los Angeles, (since January 2019) and Denver (began in the Fall of 2020). Lead Guitar is also excited to begin serving the Athens/Atlanta region in the upcoming 2021-22 school year!
Students served to date:
The University of Arizona, Aspen Music Festival & School, University of Chicago's Logan Center for the Arts, Roosevelt University, California State University-Northridge, University of Southern California, University of Denver, Glendale Community College (Phoenix), University of Georgia
* Lead Guitar Graduate Programs: Partner schools whose Teachers-of-Record are fully trained to continue the program on their own, but continue to benefit from periodic visits from a Lead Guitar Master Instructor, access to our digital curriculum and resources, as well as on-campus activities and performance opportunities.
+ Lead Guitar Legacy Programs: Partner schools who have completed both regular and graduate program phases and operate entirely on their own with access to our digital curriculum and resources in perpetuity. Should their Teacher-of-Record move away, Lead Guitar is ready to step back in to ensure the guitar program continues.
